I wear many hats at the Indie Bookstore I work at. I am responsible for the online orders, the school orders, social media pics, bookselling and more. So you can imagine what the week before Christmas was like.

Wild!

I was moving non stop which is certainly a good thing. Gotta keep the Indie Bookstores alive right?

Even with all the chaos, I did find a moment of joy in the form of a story my coworker told me.

I was on my break when she came up to tell me how a customer had found one of my recommendation cards, took it off the shelf, and brought it to her saying, "where is this book, I have to read it!" And she ending up buying it! All because of my rec card!

In case you are wondering, that book was Hate by Tate James

And this was what my rec card said:

I read this in one sitting, staying up until 2:30am ON A WORK NIGHT, to finish it. I then proceeded to read the entire four book long series in just four days. So addicting!
